Bullshit New Year Resolutions
Today is the fourth day of the final exam for my 3rd year 2nd sem. During the preparation for the finals, I wasn't paying much attention for my study and waste my time of thinking of other things, facebook-ing and coming out with this year's resolutions. Haaa. Suddenly I have so many things to achieve for this year.
List of 2016 new year resolutions:
1) Squat! I wish to get a nice body shape besides having good health.
2) Reduce my WEIGHT to 50kg! What a so common every year's resolution. Haa. But this time I will try my hard to achieve it~
3) Read more books! Well. To be honest, I am not a bookworm. Just I feel like I am quite outdated with the current stuffs, news, things like that. Being a 22-year-old lady is no longer a girl anymore. I need to add more values to myself by gaining some common useful knowledge. In short, to get more matured in mentality.
4) Brush up my broken English by getting used to speak a proper English without grammar mistakes.
5) Learn Russian language because I always wish to learn some foreign languages.
So.. These are the stuffs that I wish to do or else it will really become a bullshit.
Road to internship is getting near. Hopefully everything will be alright and wish me good luck.
Two more papers are still waiting for me. And right now is 2.14am and it's time to sleep. Good night and sweet dream.

The Year - Stepping out of the world
2015年已接近了尾声。回顾这一年所发生的一切事。
For me, this year might not be the best
year but it is the year that I live to the fullest. A very thrilling experience
and exploration for my 21-year-old life.
Embrace Taiwan under AIESEC exchange
program kicked start everything of this year. First time, I leave my beloved
family, hometown, country alone to a new environment where I need to adapt it
within a short period of time in order to complete my project. First time being
away from my family, spending Chinese New Year with the Taiwanese family whom I
never get to know none of them at all. From taking flight to Taiwan, arrival,
leaving Taiwan, the whole process I did it myself. Kind of an achievement is
unlocked.
Meeting new foreign friends is my biggest
reward of this year. In the project – Embrace Taiwan, besides getting to know
the locals there, I had made friend with two Indonesians, one Thai girl, one
Canadian, and the last one is my country mate. First time staying under the
same roof with these awesome people for around 2 months. Besides the daily
works in Yuan Bao Temple, we never forgot to enjoy ourselves there. We laughed,
we danced, we sang, we traveled, we ate, all together. Specially thanks to the
locals there as well: Johnson, 2 Kevin(s), Hui Zhen, Jia yi, Nancy and Keiko,
without them, we will never experience the difference to the max. Getting to
know the culture, how to take the bus, walk in the street in the middle of the
night, celebrate CNY there, stay at the Taiwanese friends’ hostel, go
clubbing.. Indeed a very great exposure.
After the project had ended, I traveled
alone around Taipei, first time staying a motel shared room with strangers. But
luckily I got to make a new friend from Hong Kong. Her name is Sarah. We met, we traveled. Two
strangers, one destination.
After this awesome 4-month-break,
university life began. Being a 3rd-year student, life is getting tougher. Those
hardcore subjects are not easy to tackle because the level of difficulty to understand
the subjects is getting higher. However, besides encountering my study, I still
involve in my dance group a,k.a, UPAG. Spending my time every night for 3 hours
to practice in the dance room. But why? Because to pursue my dream - getting
the chance to represent UTP and Malaysia to perform in a foreign country, which
is one of my wishlists that I want to achieve since the first day I joined
UPAG. Eventually, hardwork and sacrifice paid off, the dream came true, I got
the chance to go to Korea to perform.
So, again away from my country to another
country which I never visit before - Korea. Like being in Taiwan, I had to
adapt the cold weather which was around 10 to 15 C. Yet, i still got nose
bleeding due to the cold weather. Performing our own cultures in Korea
attracted a lot of locals and even tourists. They like our costumes because of
its uniqueness. So somehow we were like stars, taking photos with them after
one and another, which including our group photos as well as self photos. At
the end, we managed to get the 3rd place among the 18 countries of
participants. The greatest thing was that I got the chance to wear the best
costume from Poland, the award receiver.
Personally,
I love to see fireworks very much. The last memorable fireworks show was in Hong
Kong Disneyland. And this time I got the chance to see fireworks again during
CNY in Taiwan and during the closing ceremony in Korea! It was so amazing and
fantastic! It lighted up the night sky magnificently. One day, I wish to watch
with someone I love because it is kind of romantic moment to share with.
I also did something other than academic stuffs. I got the chance to follow some lecturers who are from Humanities and Management department to do survey in Melaka regarding the effect of having PETRONAS refinery plant around their housing area. Since the place is kind of rural area, after I had done so many Chinese locals there, I found that how lucky I am to own everything I have. Because some of them have financial problem, some they are facing dilemma of moving out of their home due to the state government going to take over the land, some they are facing the pollution problem due to the toxic smoke released to the air from rubbish incineration. It is sad to see all these problem faced by the people which I never see or notice in my current place of living.
This
year end with full of lesson and the learning process is still going on. Recently,
I am learning Russian language. There is a useful application I would like to
introduce to you – Duolingo. It is a good companion throughout the learning
process. You can access it using your PC as well as phone.
Maybe
I shouldn’t focus so much on the relationship stuffs. For me, it is like gambling, I
can’t foresee the future. I did involve in relationship but maybe I shouldn’t
buy it? Hmm.. Time will always be my best answer provider. Well.. I still
believe that there will be someone waiting for my arrival.
2016 -- I am ready to welcome you. And goodbye to 2015, I gonna miss you so much.

The Brightest Chapter in Uni Life
This year is nearly coming to an end, 5 more days to go and a brand new year is gonna started very soon. I gonna miss every single thing which comes together in this semester.
Before this semester started, I joined a industrial trip which was 3D2N. It was so awesome to learn and expose myself to new things and the best part is meeting new friends. Meeting them is the key to unlocked this semester.
To me, this semester is the most fruitful.

- Kayak - For my one hour credit co-curriculum activity, at first I would like to choose swimming to be my coQ of this sem but it's too bad that there are limited spaces for this and I ended up swimming in the lake. Haha. I chose kayak. It was so fun and a very good experience. Besides learning the new technique of kayaking, which includes paddling and self-rescue (which you need to act capsize scene lol) , I get to know better about my Malay coursemates, It was all about fate. I chose this coQ without asking anyone to join me since it's actually kind of extreme sport even though we just practice in the calm lake water. After the first class, I only get to know few of them and build the bonds among us.
- UPAG (UTP Performing Arts Group) Dancer - I joined this club since last semester. I was a newbie and what I can do is just practice practice and practice that time. But this year, I got the chances and manage to perform 3 dances for events: Convo Dinner in front of Tun Dr. Mahathir, UTP HAX and Microscopic Conference Dinner in front of VIPs and lecturers. I feel proud to be part of them, even though I need to practice every night from 9 to 12, we actually share the same interest, passion and feel happy to dance and perform in front of others. To be truthful, I like the moment, standing of the stage, when the light shines on you, you feel fearless and this is where your confidence comes from. I like dancing and I wish to own some good memories in Uni which I won't feel regret after graduation. That's why I'm here. UPAG Hot to go!
- UPAG Crew - Besides being a dancer, I play the role of a crew when I was not involved in the particular dance outside UTP. We won 1st runner-up in the competition named Festival Tari Malaysia.
- Concert in UiTM Shah Alam - It was an awesome and great performance done well by the uni performers even though there was an technical problem during the drama. I liked the dance no matter traditional or modern. You guys really did a good job which really opened up my eyes!
- Unlocked-Keys - During the trip, I get to know a bunch of new friends which I never notice and know their existence before. Friends from Turkmenistan, Yemen, Chad and local as well. LOL. Some of them I still keep in touch with. Again, it's all about fate. Fate pulls us together at the same time and shines together and lighten up this semester. Make it worthwhile and the brightest moment!
- Event Management Seminar (EMS) - I agreed to my Malay coursemate to help him out to be the facilitator of the event. Through this event, I learnt a lot which is other than academic. I get to know another bunch of Malay coursemates and 2 other Malay girls from other course. We even hang out together to have Sushi King as lunch and Dominos as dinner! These are the celebration of event success and also a token of appreciation for the facilitators.
- Kayak Convo Race - This race was held on behalf of the convocation. I joined mixed-double in the race. We emerged as 1st-runner up in the race. The bad part was that the medals for mixed-double only one. I kept the medal and we share the cash prize RM50.
Last year during the second sem, I met an accident and broke my right last small toe. And this year second sem, my left eye lid which was believed that the gland opening was dust or bacteria infection there due to eye rubbing with my dirty hand, grew a stye. Thanks to my friends who fetched me to see the eye specialist and him as well who drove me and accompanied me to have the operation. I cherish and appreciate the people who spent their precious time on me. Because in the history, I will be part of their life and so do them in mine no matter they remember or not. Time is precious and never go backwards.
Final exam is just 10 days away from now. I should stop here and back to study.
You only live once. So Smile and Be a happy kid. Peace!

Learn to be a better person
After going through lots of things, I learned many things from other people and also myself.
It's good not to complain and blame whenever things happen. Instead, we should learn to appreciate people surrounding you. This is the key point I should learn.
Well. Words are easier to say than practicing this to make it a norm. I will get it a try to make a difference of myself.
One thing I would like to share with you. I decided to continue practising my guitar until I really can play well. I want to hold something I really like and learn it. Another thing is I want to dye my hair! My very first time to dye my hair. This might be normal to you but I feel excited to see myself with coloured hair. =D So stay tuned! ^^
